Each class has their own jar in which they can earn up to five tokens (or pom-poms for GEJ) each week for demonstrating safe, respectful, and responsible behavior during their library time. Classes are acknowledged and rewarded for reaching a designated number of tokens/pom-poms. Our first goal was 20 and I am pleased to announce that three classes (one at Hollis and two at GEJ) recently reached this goal!
As a reward for being the first class at Hollis to reach 20 tokens, Ms. Skoolicas' 3rd grade received a special treat at the end of their library time this week: popsicles and a dance party!
On Thursday, at GEJ, two classes reached 20! Ms. Neary's class and Mrs. Fries class both reached 20 and, as the first classes to reach the goal, they also will receive a special class reward during their next library time.
All classes, once they reach each goal, will receive a small prize. However, the first classes to reach the goal at each school get a special reward to celebrate their successful behavior!
